UNIHCA, Hotel & Culinary University of the Americas and KKIS signed partnership to help our scholars.
Through the Connections Program, Coordinated by Malú Martínez, KKIS and UNIHCA signed an agreement in which 3 KKIS scholars interested in studying a career in hospitality or gastronomy will receive an 80% Scholarship.
Fred Uriarte, Director of the Scholarship Program at KKIS; Gayle Collins, Founder of this charity; Malú Martínez, Coordinator of Connections Program and Karla Munguia, Communication Coordinator toured the facilities of this University before signing this partnership.
During this visit, Mauricio Algazi, Dean at UNIHCA, and Fernando Barquera, Commercial Director, shared with KKIS members their philosophy:
“The first thing that we focus is in the heart of our students, not in their minds. We want to reach their hearts. A smile, a look in the eye, are the most important details. We’re really interested in working with our students’ happiness, which is why we have a teacher specialized in Human Development”, the Dean said.
This agreement will begin in February 2019.
Apart from becoming experts in hospitality and gastronomy, students at UNIHCA can participate in international exchange in France or do their Professional Practices in Orlando!
