NCAA Division One Teams were invited to compete in the Cancun Challenge, by Triple Crown Sports at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

For four years, Keeping Kids in School has been invited by Triple Crown Sports to take part in the Cancun Challenge and this year was no exception!

During 5 days, we had the opportunity to have a stand at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya where students, parents, coaches and teachers brought us school supplies and donations. You all rock!

What a match!

On Saturday the 24th, we partnered with Bon Voyage DMC to take students from CETMAR 36 and CECyTE I to the women’s match between Princeton and Kansas State, and what a game!

We didn’t want to miss the opportunity to speak to family members of these young ladies about what education means to them.

“Oh, education, well, it’s very important. That’s the number one priority for these girls on the court right here, get your education and you’ll get far”, a proud father from Kansas.

Then, we wanted to hear from our students as we waited for the girls to come back to the court for the final quarter. Watch some of the excitement on this video.

“Study, because if you don’t study, you will have a future, but not an easy one”, student from CETMAR 36.
