The huge order of school supplies which KKIS Project ordered from MAXAR Papeleria are arriving daily. We are still awaiting 12,000 spiral notebooks next week, but most of the other supplies are stored in the KKIS headquarters ready for packing. The KKIS Project returned to Cristo Rey to deliver school supplies to all the students at the new Secondaria school in that area. We have been helping the students at the school built by their parents for several years, but this year they have a new building built by the government!
The first few days of school in mid-August KKIS volunteers delivered bags of school supplies to every child in two elementary schools in the Nicte Ha neighborhood and one in Cristo Rey which lies north and west of Playa del Carmen in the jungle.
