Day of Dead at CECYTE high school

The KKIS Project volunteers who practice conversational English with CECYTE high school students twice weekly were invited to a Day of the Dead party with hot cocoa and pan del muerto. The students had created Katrinas and dressed them to represent the traditional clothing from many states in Mexico. Great fun and lovely Katrinas!

The students and faculty also donated three boxes of lightly used books (including an enormous Spanish/English dictionary) for use in the new library KKIS and the Canadian charity, Library in a Week, are creating for the Cristo Rey secundaria school north and west of Playa. Gracias!!!
