December 1 was the second snorkel trip the school year for 15 KKIS volunteers guided by CETMAR high school students. These are all kids who are majoring in Tourism which includes snorkeling and scuba diving education. The purpose of this trip was to have the students practice their English and guiding skills. Small groups of students took 3 or 4 volunteers to the water’s edge and explained hand signals they would use while in the water then swam together out into the sea. Later a volleyball game took place, soccer was ever present and conversations took place.

The volunteers had a very good time and were happy to help these wonderful students. A couple of the volunteers brought a pile of snorkel gear and donated it to the school.
