Kids working on the Little Reader English language program.

The English language lessons produced by Brill Kids and which LLI-Mexico/ EEECF provided the scholarship grant to KKIS/ DIF for the Little Learner Learning Software System are on the computers in the DIF School classroom and are in use. Last Thursday we helped the students start the program so they understand how to use it and tested them on their English ability in order for them to study independently at their own level. There are 20 desktop computers in the classroom (donated by the President of the Municipo) so about half the class can work at a time. Our plan is for the students to spend about 20 minutes every day on the program and KKIS volunteers will come Tuesdays and Thursdays to converse with them and play learning games.

Studying at different levels, but hard at work.
