After our delivery of backpacks to the CAPVI kids this morning, four KKIS volunteers drove back to the Cristo Rey neighborhood where we had delivered school supplies on Tuesday. We brought several bags of English language teaching supplies to an American woman who lives there and is teaching English in her home after school and on weekends to children. Donors have been very generous with teacher supplies and we wanted to pass some along.
When we arrived there were two students working on words about neighborhood. On a white board a schematic had been drawn and labeled with streets, corners, houses, front and back yards, parks and driveways.
Another, more advanced class was expected later today.
Thank you all for your support of the KKIS Project. We are seeing and feeling the results!
