253 Volunteers, 300 Smiles: Randstad Canada Packs for a Brighter Future

KKIS extends its heartfelt gratitude to Randstad Canada for their incredible contribution to our mission! For the second year in a row, Randstad Canada employees visiting the Riviera Maya dedicated their time and energy to a school packing event. An impressive 253 volunteers packed a staggering 300 school supply bags, ensuring students have the resources they need to succeed.

Investing in Education, Empowering the Future

Randstad Canada’s commitment to education is truly inspiring. These thoughtfully packed school supplies represent more than just pencils and notebooks; they represent the potential for a brighter future. Randstad Canada is helping KKIS by equipping students with the necessary tools,  and empowering them to reach their full potential. This investment in education creates a ripple effect, fostering a more qualified workforce, stronger communities, and a brighter future for all.

The partnership between KKIS and Randstad Canada extends beyond this single event. This collaborative spirit allows us to connect students with valuable career resources and mentorship opportunities. By working together, we can bridge the gap between education and employment, ensuring that Riviera Maya students have the tools and support they need to thrive in today’s job market.

Due to family finances KKIS granted Elena a university scholarship to continue her education. “Without the help of a generous sponsor, I wouldn’t be in college studying right now. This opportunity was given to me and I intend to help others with my degree as a lawyer”

KKIS Vision

Improving lives through education.

KKIS (Keep Kids in School) works to build stronger communities in Playa del Carmen by eliminating financial obstacles to public education. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn and succeed, and we are dedicated to making education accessible and affordable for promising students in our community.

KKIS Mission

At KKIS (Keeping Kids in School), we believe that education reduces poverty, improves lives, and builds stronger communities. Recognizing that education is often unaffordable for many families in Mexico, we remove financial barriers to keep kids in school.

Our programs provide financial assistance and help students develop essential language, life, and work skills

Through a combination of financial aid, community connections, and educational support, we achieve an impressive 86% high school graduation rate, compared to the national average of less than 50% throughout Mexico.

Our success is driven by the generous support of individuals and corporations who share our values and vision.
