Providing Inspiration

The Connections Program received an injection of high voltage energy as our own Karla Munguia, passionately delivered inspirational talks to 18 classrooms! Drawing on her own amazing life story (Karla was the first Mexican film maker to work on Animal Planet), Karla encourages students to reach for their dreams, to work hard as she explains that speaking English was the passport to her exciting life!

This year Karla also gave a conference called “A Better World for Our Kids” at the Medical Board Summit of Pediatricians in Nuevo Vallarta, and the conference “My Wild Life”, for SeLider Querétaro in Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro.

Karla will continue to give her conferences at public schools in Playa del Carmen, as she wants to inspire kids to stay in school, learn other languages, live with passion and work hard to reach their dreams.
