Team Building with a Cause at Xcaret Arte Hotel
A recent team building event at Xcaret Arte Hotel turned into an opportunity for KKIS to connect with a generous donor. FIBRA by Macquarie Group, a leading infrastructure and real estate investment trust, invited KKIS to participate in their team-building event.
Sharing the KKIS Story & Inspiring the Future
During the event, KKIS founder Gayle Collins shared the organization’s inspiring origin story. Rick, the KKIS marketing and fundraising director, spoke about the impactful projects and events KKIS supports. Elena, a law student and KKIS scholarship recipient, offered a heartfelt perspective on how KKIS has empowered her educational journey.
Impressed by KKIS’s mission and impact, FIBRA by Macquarie Group not only made a significant donation but also encouraged their employees to contribute. This heartwarming display of social responsibility demonstrates the power of collaboration and philanthropy.

At KKIS (Keeping Kids in School), we believe that education reduces poverty, improves lives, and builds stronger communities. Recognizing that education is often unaffordable for many families in Mexico, we remove financial barriers to keep kids in school.
Our programs provide financial assistance and help students develop essential language, life, and work skills
Through a combination of financial aid, community connections, and educational support, we achieve an impressive 86% high school graduation rate, compared to the national average of less than 50% throughout Mexico.
