Mamitas Beach Club & Restaurant
Calle 28
Mamita’s Beach Club is known for its vibrant atmosphere. It’s one of the more famous beach clubs in town, with a whole section of beach named after it.
This beach club has it all: loungers and umbrellas on the wide sandy beach, a pool area, with DJ and cabana beds, and a restaurant. You can even get a massage on the beach here too.
Expect to pay a minimum consumption fee, which is redeemable against food and beverages.
Martina Beach Club
Calle 44
If you’re looking for a fiesta, rather than a siesta, Martina Beach Club is the ultimate hub for the fun-loving beach enthusiast! Known for its vibrant energy and fun-filled ambiance, this spot is a haven for partygoers and social butterflies.
Expect lively music that sets the mood for a day filled with dancing, mingling, and enjoying delicious drinks. There are tables in the restaurant, cabanas around the pool, and beds on the sandy beach to choose from, offering different price points, usually at a minimum consumption.
Whether you’re here to soak in the sun or dance the day away, Martina promises an unforgettable beach experience.

Calle 4
INTI Beach Club is situated in the heart of downtown Playa del Carmen. Known for great food and cocktails, it’s a great place to enjoy the afternoon.
It doesn’t have a whole lot of beach beds, but has large tables which are perfect for going with a group of friends.
The ocean here can also be a little more rocky, so be careful when taking a dip in the sea.
Fusion Beach Club
Calle 6
Local favorite Fusion is back! This chill beach bar is a relaxing place to go from day to night, with low chairs and sunbeds and a down-to-earth vibe.
Open from sunrise until late, it’s home to Aloha Surf and Paddleboarding Club, so you can rent a board and take to the waves. In the evening you can enjoy beers by the bucket and even watch a fire show.
Zenzi Beach Club
Calle 10
For a laid-back vibe, you can’t beat Zenzi. Here you can grab a table with no cover and just pay for what you eat. It’s not as much of a tanning and sun lounger place, as it is a beach restaurant, but it’s worth having on this list for the value and as it’s an expat favorite.
As evening falls, Zenzi offers salsa classes, and music from live bands, plus has a resident DJ, so you can dance the night away under the stars.
Coralina Daylight Club
Calle 26
Coralina Daylight Club where the sun, sea, and champagne flow in perfect harmony! This vibrant hotspot is one of the best beach clubs in Playa del Carmen for those looking for the ultimate party experience by the shore (despite not actually having a beach area!)
From the moment you step in, the beats are pumping, and the energy is electric. Picture yourself lounging on plush daybeds, clinking glasses of bubbly with friends, and dancing as the DJ spins a mix of upbeat tunes that keep the party going.
With its lively atmosphere and contagious party spirit, this club is where you can let loose, but be aware of its heftier price point compared to other spots in the area.
Encanto Beach Club
Calle 40
Encanto Beach Club is a hidden gem. This spot offers a spacious area, with sunbeds, sofas, and cabanas on the sand, overlooking Coco Beach where the dive boats arrive.
More than a beach club, Encanto offers an extensive event schedule too, with a range of activities, including salsa and bachata lessons and socials, yoga classes, ecstatic dance mornings, and cinema nights.
Mvngata Beach Club
Avenida Xcalacoco
Slightly out of town, a short taxi ride away, you’ll find Mvngata – a trendy beach club that’s a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.
As well as having a beach area, where families can mingle, eat, and dip in the pool, adults can enjoy the roof deck which has stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, as well as its delicious food and drinks.
Mvngata also has a variety of activities and events, such as yoga, salsa lessons, and movie nights.
