Highlights

To me, education is all about

Intellectual and personal growth.

I admire

My boss at work. Since she is a persistent and passionate person. Also because despite her times, she is interested in contributing to society by defending the environment in the way in which she is an expert.

Would you parachute out of a plane? Why?

Definitely. I would like to get out of my comfort zone and risk doing something that the Irma of the past in her life would do. To have an incredible experience.

My favorite movie(s) are

Mystery and romance series, as well as horror, comedy, and philosophy movies.
t

I am most curious about

The vestiges and pyramids that we have in our country. Because I'm intrigued by the backstory behind its origin, no matter how small. This, since I really like to know the history or background of anything.

KKIS Vision

Improving lives through education.

KKIS (Keeping Kids in School) works to build stronger communities in Playa del Carmen by eliminating financial obstacles to public education. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn and succeed, and we are dedicated to making education accessible and affordable for promising students in our community.

KKIS Mission

At KKIS (Keeping Kids in School), we believe that education reduces poverty, improves lives, and builds stronger communities. Recognizing that education is often unaffordable for many families in Mexico, we remove financial barriers to keep kids in school.

Our programs provide financial assistance and help students develop essential language, life, and work skills

Through a combination of financial aid, community connections, and educational support, we achieve an impressive 86% high school graduation rate, compared to the national average of less than 50% throughout Mexico.
