This year KKIS received 501c3 status in the US, giving us the ability to offer tax deductible receipts for donations made by US tax payers to our US legal entity, KKIS Incorporated, based in Colorado.
All donations made through our website go directly to our US bank account and are tax-deductible.
Since 2011, KKIS has worked to ensure children can stay in school for 12 years and are prepared for job opportunities that follow. One doesn’t need to look far here in Mexico to see that poor families are routinely prioritising the spending of every penny and often school supplies and books don’t make the cut. And because public high school is not free the percentage of children who complete 12 years is less than half of those who begin primary school. www.kkisproject.org
KKIS has developed programs to address these issues and much more. Generous donations and lots of volunteer hours made it possible this year to:
- Deliver school supplies to 1,200+ children
- Outfit 2 schools with $2,500 worth of materials & equipment
- Provide ~25 students English language education twice / week
- Give 18 students scholarships that include: school fees, 2 uniforms, a transportation stipend and a mentor

There are many worthy causes. KKIS is the real deal. An all-volunteer organization with a dedicated working board – now with office space provided by a generous supporter.
