Theatre tickets for KKIS students.

KKIS was contacted by Dada Project production company with an event called “Dreaming of Tomorrow” with visual effects, acrobatic performance and concert which will take place at the new Public Theatre in Playa del Carmen. The theme is Pro-Humanity and Pro-Planet. The company wanted to give back to the community and asked for a group of students whom we thought were deserving.

Immediately we thought of our hardworking English students at Bachilleres high school whom we have been tutoring every morning this week to prepare them for a second chance at their final English exam.  There have been at least 25 students who spent time with KKIS volunteers going over and over basic grammar.

So, this morning the the shiny orange tickets arrived and were distributed. These kids have worked hard. Their previous experience with English education was definitely sketchy but they all realize how important knowledge of English will be to them in the future.
