Interschool Math Contest

Great math minds from 4th, 5th & 6th grades competed in a well-attended math contest on February 20th. Participating schools, Jaime Torres Bodet and Andrés Quintana Roo worked from the beginning of the school year last September preparing students for this day.  Math equations were flashed on a screen and students had 5 minutes to work out the answer to each problem and demonstrate their logic.

Congratulations to 6th grader Jaden Samuel Benítez Pérez from Jaime Torres Bodet who won first place for his grade!! His teacher Carlos Chable Fernández was extremely proud & so are we!!!! Jaden and the other first-place winners received a  Tablet loaded with math games.  Second prize was a book of didactic math games and third prize was a soccer ball.
