Meet GMB’s class of 2021

35 students began their second year of high school thanks to GMB, a real estate company in Playa del Carmen sponsoring their education.

Last year, GMB Real Estate Solutions launched the campaign Dreams Built to fund scholarships for a whole class of students. Dreams Built was inspired by the idea that dreams need to be constructed with hard work and a solid educational foundation.

35 students are now beginning 11th grade, so to get to know the class and inspire them to continue giving their best, Marc Pujol, GMB’s CEO, hosted a reunion at IT Hotel.

After enjoying delicious sushi, the students learned more about Marc, who shared with them in a very intimate talk about his journey and how important education is.

Mark encouraged the students to dream big, to set goals and to work hard toward achieving them.

“Envision yourself,” he said, “achieving everything you dream about; a family, a home, work that excites you.”

He talked about the value of education and how the use of a vision board can help clarify what is important and what a person wants out of life.

The students listened carefully to Marc’s advice and asked him great questions like: Why did you decide to help KKIS? Are you going to meet us in 2 years?

Marc responded that he’s always wanted to help others and that for sure he will see them in 2 years when they will be graduating from high school.

After Marc’s speech, the students visited GMB’s headquarters to meet the rest of the team and give a special coffee mug with the students’ names for 35 members of the company.

This talk inspired the GMB class of 2021, who can’t wait to celebrate their achievements in 2 years time.
