Cristo Rey school girls

Schools in Mexico require national testing to insure progress is being made. In the past the school in Cristo Rey needed to charge each student a fee for these tests – the price of making copies at a shop in town.

With the arrival of a donated printer, paper supply and toner cartridges that fee has been waived. The 6th grade class test was 12 pages long last week and would have cost each child 26 pesos. But thanks to this generous KKIS benefactor the tests papers were free.

It is wonderful to see this graphic example of how KKIS is making a difference for student families.
